With a select selection of artists, who have exhibited in Nieuw Charlois in the past 4 years, we have compiled an overview in the new space in C-3 Studios; the High Lights. With nine participants, who all brought their supporters, it was a busy and festive opening. Or perhaps more of a reunion. It resulted in an exuberant atmosphere with many conversations and encounters. The opening by Anne-Marie Ros had an open character, which allowed the public to receive a lot of information through the conversations that Anne-Marie had with the artists at their work. A textbook example of how an opening should be.
The new look of Nieuw Charlois, with its open ceiling and striking wooden floor, seems to adapt like a chameleon to the artworks that are carried inside. It gives us great confidence in the future! Keep coming and enjoy.
